09 April – 10 April 2019
Lübeck, Deutschland

At the Programme conference of Interreg Baltic Sea Region on 9-10 April 2019, people responsible for allocating funds are gathering in Lübeck to meet people who make use of them. Register now!

What has been achieved with EUR 300 million of Interreg Baltic Sea Region funding to make the Baltic Sea region more innovative, more sustainable and better accessible? To date, more than 1000 partner organisations from all countries around the Baltic Sea cooperate in projects. It’s time to talk about achievements!

The conference is your chance to freshen up your knowledge about the achievements of projects funded by Interreg Baltic Sea Region. 50 projects pitch their achievements tackling challenges and opportunities related to e.g. circular economy, energy efficiency or sustainable urban mobility. Six project platforms assemble 48 projects around core themes of Baltic Sea region cooperation including waste water management, blue growth and clean shipping. Get acquainted with the new cooperation tool of project platforms and its role for implementing the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR). Make use of the opportunity to meet the decision makers in the Programme’s Monitoring Committee, the coordinators of the EUSBSR, peers from organisations around the Baltic Sea and the support team of the Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat.

Lübeck is well known for its Hanseatic heritage. Not only that, Lübeck hosts three Nobel prize winners affiliated with our region – let’s take inspiration from Thomas Mann, Willy Brandt and Günter Grass. Registration is open from 5 February until 18 March 2019 as long as seats last. We register on a first-come, first-serve basis as capacities are limited. The Managing Authority/Joint Secretariat is looking forward to meeting you in Lübeck soon!
